Ornithologists have found 151 different species of Birds which can be seen in Singh raja forest.Knuckles mountain range is the other ideal place for Bird Watching. In that range 128 Bird species have been recorded.
For wading species, Bundala national park is very famous. During the season lots of waders can be seen here.
