Rafting is a very popular water sport with all tourists that visit Sri Lanka.
Whether you are a professional rafter or a beginner, we have the perfect place for you.
The place we use is the second biggest river in Sri Lanka, the Kalani River, made famous by the filming of the Oscar winning movie, ‘The Bridge over the river Kwai’.
The older generation living here still remembers the making of the movie, very difficult at times, though the roads are now much improved.
White water rafters are looked after by qualified, British trained instructors.
The Kalani River is 145 KM long. The section used for rafting is graded as third grade, so it is safe for all standards of rafters. With 5 km long rapids you get the experience of a life time, ideal for all adventure lovers.
