For those who enjoy the eco living there is excellent trekking. It’s a combination of exercise , education and excitement.
The treks we use are in very special locations. We can travel in one day from the wet zone to the dry zone, in a few hours, the time difference is only 2 to 3 hours, but the temperature from zone to zone will be between 10 to 15 degrees C different.
This is one of the things that makes Sri Lanka so special, you can reach any type of climate zone in 2 to 3 hours walk or drive.
Our main trekking areas are in the upcountry side. The Knuckles mountain range is very famous, as is Horton Plains; these are located in the Kandy, Matale, and Nuwara-Eliya districts.
We also have trekking in the dry zone. We especially recommend the Veddas (Aboriginal Peoples) area, this is fascinating to see how different their living style is to the other inhabitants of Sri Lanka.
Our treks take in all kinds of different elements; river crossing, thick forest, rice fields, Traditional Sri Lankan villages, home gardens and tea plantations.
We can arrange treks to your own requirements.
Trekkers are always accompanied by English speaking guides and a guide from the local trekking area, so you won’t miss a thing.
Discover the country you don’t see in the brochures, round each corner is a new experience just waiting to be discovered.
